The center of gravity of any geometrical subject – a point of intersection of all gravity operating on a figure at any change of its situation. This mark can sometimes not coincide with a body, being out of its borders.

Instruction
1. Remember that the center of symmetry of a uniform body idle time of rectangular, round, spherical, cylindrical or square shape coincides with its center of gravity. At a uniform round disk it is located in a point of intersection of diameters of a circle.

4. Consistently connect a body to thread in various points. If find a subject which center of gravity it is necessary, is at rest, then required parameter coincides with the line of thread. Otherwise gravity surely would set it in motion.
5. Use a ruler and a pencil and draw vertical straight lines which coincide with the direction of the threads fixed in various points of a subject. Depending on complexity of any shape of a body, draw two or three lines which have to be crossed in one point. It will also be the required parameter of the chosen subject because its center of gravity is located on all similar straight lines.
6. The way of suspension of a subject allows to define the center of gravity of both a flat figure, and more difficult body with changeable any form. For example, in the spread-out state the center of gravity of two bars connected by the hinge is in their geometrical center. If to bend bars, then required parameter will appear outside objects.
