Instruction
1. To find a root of degree ""n"" from number, make the following. Press on the Start-up computer - "All programs" - "Standard". Then enter the subsection "Office" and choose "Calculator". You can make it manually: press "Start-up", enter "calk" into the line "execute" and press "Enter". The calculator will open. For extraction of a root square of any number, enter this number into a line of the calculator and press the button with the inscription "sqrt". The calculator will make extraction from the entered number of the square root called square.
2. To take a root which degree is higher than the second it is necessary to use other type of the calculator. For this purpose in the interface of the calculator press the Look button and in the menu choose the line "Engineering" or "Scientific". Has this appearance of the calculator function, necessary for calculation of the root n-y of degree.
3. For extraction of a cube root (cubic), on the "engineering" calculator gather the necessary number and press the 3 button. For receiving a root which extent is higher than the 3rd gather the necessary number, press on the calculator the button with the y√x badge and then enter number – an exponent. After that press an equal-sign (= button) and you receive a required root.
4. If on your calculator there is no y√x function, execute the following. For extraction of a cubic root enter a radicand, then put in the check boxing which is located near the inscription "Inv", a mark. This action you will transfer functions of buttons of the calculator to the return, i.e., having clicked on the button for construction in a cube, you will make extraction of a root cubic. On the button which is necessary to you "x^3" is represented. At extraction of a root with an exponent more than three: enter number, put a birdie in the check boxing of "Inv", as well as in the previous case. Then click the button with x^y symbols and enter number - an exponent. Press an equal-sign, and the calculator will give you a required root.
5. To find manually a root square of number, it is necessary to find such integer which, at its construction in a square, will be less or equally to number from which this root is taken. The square root can be found by means of the handle and paper, so to speak, in a column, using the multiplication table. Roots of bigger degree should be taken by means of technical means.
