How to train will power?

When the person does something on enthusiasm and with great desire, everything turns out easily and quickly. However such affairs happens not so much. It is necessary to do much more often what is necessary owing to certain circumstances. In this case not to do without will power. It helps to move forward even then when we were tired or we have no desire.

However quite often there are situations when we also like to arrive differently, but for it there are not enough internal forces. To do in the morning exercises, to help in the evening the wife to make a dinner, to shake the child at night, to read the book, to leave off smoking or play gadgets – all these affairs demand the fortress of spirit and internal forces.

How to find will power?

The will power is not inherited quality. Of course, genetically in the child some program which will help to develop or slow down strengthening of will power is put. However inherited qualities play a small role while the main emphasis in development of will power is the share of education.

The fact that the soft vital atmosphere does not contribute to the development of will power is interesting. When the child has everything, and there is no need something to try to obtain, the spineless personality not capable to overcome vital difficulties grows up.

However even the wrong education is not a vital sentence. Each person knowing how to train will power, can strengthen the internal resources.

How to train will power?

The main way of a training of will power consists in daily performance of a certain task. This task can be necessary (for example, to do exercises) or simply directed to a will training (for example, to eat not with the leading hand). At the same time it is important to follow such rules:

  • the task has to be easy that in the course of its performance the disappointment did not appear;
  • it is desirable that the task was important for the person – it will increase satisfaction from his performance;
  • at first it is better to set only one task for himself;
  • the task needs to be written down on a leaf and to put on a foreground.

Exercises for a will power training

You should not think of how to strengthen will power much. The will power becomes stronger in business, but not in reflections about it. Use any pleasant exercise:

  1. "I will not be". Refuse any negative habit. It can be a habit to tell slangy words, to smoke, play computer games, there are croutons, to stoop.
  2. "I will be". Think what good habits you would like to have. It can be daily cleaning in the room, is ringing to mother, 10 pages of the book, 20 push-ups in three calling. That you chose, the main thing that there was an opportunity to train a new habit every day, without giving yourself indulgences. At the same time it is important to decide in advance that no justifications should be: problems with health, earthquake, guests, fatigue, etc.
  3. Increase in self-checking. You watch during the day what did not attach significance earlier to: how many spent money in a day how many spoke by phone, what is the time devoted to games. Sum up the results in the evening what it is necessary to work further on and what managed to achieve in a day.
  4. "And if …" Think of business on which you have not enough will power. Write all consequences of on paper if you are able never to overcome it. Later write advantages of a situation when you achieve desirable result.
  5. Fixing of result. When you performed a task, stop for several minutes and enjoy reached. Think that you could not make it, but thanks to the force you could execute conceived. Praise yourself for efforts.
