Pregnancy – a happy time in the woman's life, however if it came unexpectedly and at early age, it can lead to the family conflicts. Before reporting about it to parents, the girl should be prepared for this conversation carefully.
1. The conversation with parents about pregnancy most often becomes conflict in two main situations: if the girl minor and if she became pregnant in the unmarried period of life. Of course, pregnancy at the minor girl – very annoying situation about which it is heavy to tell parents. However if the father of future child – your beloved also agrees to get married and bring up the child with you, it can be a powerful argument in favor of the fact that not everything is so bad.
2. Try to talk to the parents together with your beloved and the father of future child. Let the young man will get acquainted with your parents and will try to summon at them trust, for example, the fact that he has stable earnings and, perhaps, the apartment where future family will be able to accommodate. Tell that did not expect a similar situation, but at the same time you love each other and are ready to start a family. Hardly in this case parents will be against the child or your future husband and will not begin to reproach you. It is in this situation important to keep good relations both with the girl's parents, and with parents of the young man. They have to understand that future family, most likely, needs financial and other aid, especially in all that concerns education of the child.
3. If you do not know precisely who is a father of future child, or he refused to start with you a family (that at the same time does not exempt it from criminal liability in case of seduction of the minor or payment of alimony on reaching the majority), it is important to convince parents that you are already quite independent and capable to bring up the child and alone. Call parents for prudence and ask for them the help for the sake of future happy life of your child.
4. Quite often there are situations when parents try to insist on abortion. You have to convince them that this procedure is very dangerous to the woman and not always has a favorable outcome. Give the facts from medicine how there take place abortions, especially if they have to be done on late terms. If parents nevertheless against the child, try to tell them about how you represent your future. Tell them that very much you want the kid and just to become mother. At the same time your parents will have a beautiful grandson to whom they will be able to give love and care. Most likely, your relatives will be touched and will gradually understand your position.
