Types of the interpersonal conflicts

Interpersonal conflict: causes

The interpersonal conflict is open collision of subjects which interact which at the same time arises as a result of the arising contradictions in the form of absolutely opposite purposes.

The most common causes of emergence of the interpersonal conflicts. Analyzing the conflict, often allocate causal factors by means of which the zone of disagreements is defined more fully and it is possible to plan effective ways of elimination of the conflict. Experts divide such factors into five groups:

Information factors

Case when one of the parties does not accept the arriving information:

  • inexact and incomplete facts;
  • incorrect information, rumors;
  • information premature or on the contrary transferred with delay;
  • unreliability of experts, testimonies of witnesses, inaccuracy of the translations;
  • publication of confidential information.

Behavioural factors

These are such factors as selfishness, roughness, unpredictability and irrelevance. Behavior which can push away the second party:

  • the aspiration to have superiority;
  • aggression;
  • egoism.

The case when undermine someone's self-assessment can act as a behavioural factor, violate a promise or do not meet expectations, threaten safe life, the unpredictable behavior causing fear.

Factors of the relations

Dissatisfaction of one of the parties or both parties interpersonal relationship:

  • balance of forces of partners in the relations;
  • level of importance of the relations for the parties;
  • compatibility of partners in respect of behavior, values and the purposes.

Factors of values

  • system of beliefs;
  • traditions;
  • political and religious values.

Structural factors

  • control system, power;
  • political parties;
  • social norms;
  • geographic location.

Effective permission of the arisen interpersonal conflicts

There are various ways of effective permission of the interpersonal conflicts. The first that needs to be made at emergence of a conflict situation, - to try to get it together, having weighed all pros and cons. To avoid the conflict, it is necessary to avoid conflict people, people who are irritated by you or who irritate you.

If it is necessary to get involved in a conversation, try to help your interlocutor to solve his problem. You need to find a way by means of which you will be able to solve the hidden interests and needs of the opponent.

The psychology of the interpersonal conflicts is engaged in studying ways of prevention and effective permission of the interpersonal conflicts.

Unfortunately, the conflicts in the interpersonal relations will always arise, but our task is in getting out of such situations as it is possible with smaller defeat of and the partner.
