Sable - the most valuable fur animal of Russia. This look is included in the International Red List therefore catching of a sable is strictly regulated now though, thanks to timely actions, population of these small animals steadily increases.
Instruction
1. Receive special permission license to catching of a sable during a season of hunting for a fur animal – from October 15 to February 28. You can get such permission in local authorities hunting farms. Sign the contract for delivery of skins with the enterprises suppliers if you are going to be engaged in constant catching of a fur animal.
2. You come for hunting early in the morning, it is desirable after snowfall that traces of a sable were visible distinctly. Constantly you watch how the dog (specially trained laika-sobolyatnitsa) behaves. If the dog found a fresh trace, then at any time can begin also prosecution of production. Disappearing from a laika, the sable usually tries to deceive it: winds, buries during snow, but, after all, all the same gets on one of trees on which tries to hide.
3. Go after a dog. As soon as you see that the dog stopped near one of trees and diligently oblaivat the hidden small animal as it is possible more carefully and more imperceptibly approach this place. If the dog left you very far, pursuing an animal, be guided on her traces and loud bark.
4. In case it is difficult to make out a sable in dense krone, shoot that place where presumably there can be a small animal from a small-bore rifle. You watch that also the dog was on the lookout. In that case if the sable jumps off from branches and again will try to leave, she should continue a pursuit.
5. If the sable hid in a tree hollow, take a pole, wind on it a rag, set fire to it, but so that it only smoked. Bring a pole as it is possible closer to a hollow, but do not push it there as fire and smoke can spoil a skin. The sable, angry a smoke smell, surely will jump out of it, and you will be able to continue prosecution or if you are in time, shoot down it.
6. Surround a tree on perimeter with a special grid-obmetom at once to catch the sable who jumped out of a hollow in which from below cut through an opening, having stopped up with a rag an entrance where earlier the animal disappeared.
7. Catch a sable by means of a trap or self-fishing. Notice places where the sable is found or ask about it experts. Build in one of such places small a srubik-feeding trough in which put a piece of meat. That the sable found a feeding trough quicker, bypass vicinities, dragging for themselves on a cord a bait, every time finishing a route near a srubik. Place on tracks around this place traps, disguise them.
8. Equip on these tracks and samolova – kulemk which mechanism works by the principle of the mousetrap, killing on the spot the small animal who reached for a bait. However the skin at the same time will remain intact.
