Instruction
1. Choose a cage in which there is enough place for a bird. By the size the cage is optimum if the parrot, sitting in the middle, can freely wave the spread wings. Length of such cage usually is not less than 40 cm, heights and width not less than 30 cm. The size of a cage which will contain two birds has to be 20% more. Choose a cage with corrosion-proof rods to exclude a possibility of poisoning with oxide threw or a piece of paint.
2. Dispose a cage in well lit room at the level of eyes of the person, one party to a wall. You watch that it did not stand on a draft or near a source of the increased humidity. Fill up a pallet of a cage with sawdust or natural hygienic cat litter.
3. You feed a parrot twice a day with grain mix. One parrot needs a mix tablespoon in day. Prepare mix for feeding of a parrot independently or buy it in specialized shop.
4. Fodder mix has to include the seeds of cereals, herbs, sunflower cleaned and the crushed nuts in the structure, but its basis always is the millet. You watch that the parrot did not choose certain species of seeds from a zernosmesa, and ate it completely. Otherwise limit giving of a forage up to 1/2 spoons a day.
5. Except grain mixes, daily you feed a parrot with fresh vegetables and fruit. Remove the food remains from a cage right after the parrot gorged on and lost to them interest. Put in a cage a drinking bowl for parrots and you watch that there was always fresh water.
6. Put in a cage a small feeding trough with river sand, bone meal and the pounded chalk. These components will help your favourite to digest better food and will strengthen skeletal system.
7. You clean a cage with a parrot daily, talking with a bird by a low, quiet voice. You will provide to these not only purity of its dwelling, but also satisfy his need for communication. If you let out a parrot from a cage, watch that in the room there were no objects, dangerous to a bird, or poisonous flowers.
