Instruction
1. Prepare boards of 1.5-2.5 cm in thickness or sheets of thick plywood. Level preparations by a plane only from the outer side. Create a wooden bottom of a nesting ground and make (by means of a chisel) a small hole with a diameter about 5 cm in the middle. It is future tray for testicles. If you prepare for parrots-nerazluchnik lodge, then it is not necessary to do deepenings. Prepare them hay and small branches – they will weave to themselves a nest at the bottom of a box.
2. Fasten boards with nails or screws. The size of a ready nested lodge choose by the form parrots. Usually for the smallest (nerazluchnik, budgerigars) there is enough box of 20 cm in height, to the area of bottom of 15х15. Do a round entrance to a lodge (letok) with a diameter about 5-7 cm. Respectively, for large birds (a cockatoo, arar) increase the lodge sizes (height - 120, a bottom – 90х90, the size a letka – 20).
3. Establish a pole from which the male will feed a samochka and baby birds. Outside it has to be about 10-15 cm (depending on the size of a parrot), and inside - to pass through all box or to enter it only on several centimeters. It has to be convenient to female to stand on her and to jump down so that not to damage some egg.
4. Drill on a box bottom small openings in 2-3 rows that air came to a lodge for parrots. Then you will put under it a bowl with water. Through these holes to little parrots water vapor will arrive, moistening air. It will need to be done in hot weather that baby birds did not die. On a bottom of a box fill a layer about 2 cm dry birch sawdust.
5. Do a lodge cover for parrots surely removable – so it will be easier for you to clean up a nesting ground and to watch chickabiddies. Make a flat or odnoskatny covering and establish it on a box by means of loops and screws.
