Breast-bands are different. Usually they represent the lead connected with the thong passing through a front part of a breast of a dog which stops it in attempts to direct forward. The breast-band can be riding, guard, coupling.

1. Address dog handlers before beginning to accustom a dog to a breast-band. Many of them consider that its constant carrying can affect a bearing of a dog and position of her front extremities not in the best way. 2. Find out in pet-shop what size of "dog ammunition" will suit your pet (from XXS to XL). Buy a breast-band from leather, leatherette or nylon, check quality of thongs, buckles, rings and a carbine on a lead.
3. Call up a dog. "Saddle" her, having clamped her waist between knees. Turn out and straighten all thongs of a breast-band a soft lining inside. Take the left hand a breast-band for the crossing of straps which already has to be located on animal withers, and right grasp a rope loop where there is a fastening for a carbine. The lower part of a breast-band has to be located between forepaws of a dog at this time. Put it in half so that chest straps were located from above.
4. Put on a breast-band the head of an animal, pass it through ears. If dense wool of the pet interferes with putting on, accurately pull out it from under thongs in process of advance to the neck basis. 5. Pass through a breast-band in turn forepaws of a dog, straighten thongs on each side and to a back, also accurately pull out wool from under chest straps. Do not tighten it too hardly; between a body and a thong has to pass a palm freely. The belt of a breast-band has to be located at palm about width distance from an armpit. Attach a lead carbine to rings.
