If you got a Yorkshire terrier, you first of all will need footwear and warm waterproof overalls for a puppy.

1. Contrary to opinion of most of people, footwear is necessary to a dog – in autumn slushy weather it will protect pads of a Yorkshire terrier from dirt, and during the winter period will warm them and will protect small pillows of paws from chemicals and reagents with which strew ice sidewalks. Besides, boots allow to keep the cut or injured paw in purity and dryness.
2. It will be required to sew boots for dogs very easily – for this purpose to you dense waterproof fabric or skin which will not slide on different surfaces. Cut out four soles from the thick rubberized fabric, correlating the size of soles to the size of pads of a dog. Then from more fine waterproof fabric you will find four "chulochka", sewing in a pipe a rectangle from fabric.
3. You pristrochit bottom edge of "pipe" to a boot sole. Front boots have to be lower than back – length of a back boot has to be such that it blocked a skakatelny joint of a hinder leg. If you are not sure that you are capable to cut out equal circles from fabric at once, make a pattern preparation, having drawn equal circles which radius is equal to the radius of paws.
5. Besides footwear, the overalls from waterproof fabric with heater are necessary for a dog. Measure length of a back of a dog, having put on her a collar and having measured distance from a collar to the tail basis. Divide the received figure into eight. Draw a grid on a leaf of a tracing-paper. Length of the party of a square of a grid will equal to figure which you received, having divided back length into eight.
6. Transfer an overalls pattern to a grid. Remember that the overalls consist of two identical details – right and left. Also in overalls there is one unpaired detail – a wedge which is sewed between forepaws the wide end. Cut out fabric details, adding allowances for seams, and then connect them a strong double stitching.
7. Adjust length of trouser-legs according to length of paws of a dog, turn in bottom edges of trouser-legs, stitch and insert an elastic band into all four trouser-legs. Connect parts of overalls a detachable lightning or velcros. To protect a dog from a rain, you can sew a hood for overalls.
8. The facilitated clothes option for a dog is the knitted vest which can be put on in cool and dry weather. As well as in the previous case, measure back length, divide it into eight and transfer a pattern to a grid which square is equal to the received number. Then measure the chest of a dog and a grasp of her waist.
9. Correlate measures to a pattern. Begin to knit an elastic band the cloth equal in width to a grasp of a waist of a dog. Add loops until their quantity does not become equal to chest. Connect a cut for paws and knit a back, and then a mouth cut.
10. Knit breast loops, having removed them on one needle. The product needs to be sewed a thread and a needle on a stomach, and then to separately sew a wedge between forepaws. Such vest can be made also of ordinary fabric.
