To begin training of a horse it is necessary to lay down only after you achieve from her smooth performance of bow. If for working off of bow it is necessary to hold 4-5 trainings, then process of laying will take twice more time. Stock up with patience and be going to face persistence and animal resistance. Instruction
1. Put on horse saddle further to use its horn as the lever. Fix stirrups from above. As there is a probability that the horse will lay down on a saddle and will damage it, use not the especially valuable or failed copy when training. Get up sideways from a horse and take one hand her leg. Chombur at the same time has to be from the opposite side. That the horse understood a difference when from it demand to lay down and when her hooves just want to clean or ground, stand in front of a horse.

3. Begin to drive a horse aside. Constantly you praise her and be on the alert that in case of danger to manage to jump aside. You watch in what direction legs and the head of a horse leave: they have to last from you aside. To control laying process, use chombur. You are behind the back of a horse and you steer clear of her legs. Play with an animal while it lies on the earth, clap on a side, scratch withers or a muzzle. If the horse quickly wants to get up, do not interfere with her at all.
4. Train a horse to lay down from one touch. Use the same operations procedure, as earlier, but remove a saddle. Having taken a hoof, you ask it to transfer weight back, touching withers as well as at bow. When the horse makes bow, stop any pressure and praise her. Try to make so that the horse left from pressure directed aside. When she lays down sideways from pressure upon withers, praise it once again.
5. Use pressure that the horse laid down sideways. The animal trained to avoid pressure, will fulfill your requirement quickly. Leave a horse to lie on one side. You will need to achieve full confidence from its party that finally it allowed you to saddle in such situation.
