Wounds at cats happen quite often and arise always unexpectedly therefore each owner of an animal has to not become puzzled in such situation and correctly process damages of fabrics at the pet.
It is required to you
- - sterile bandage or gauze;
- - scissors;
- - Q-tip;
- - brilliant green;
- - iodine;
- - vodka or alcohol;
- - tweezers;
- - 3% solution of peroxide of hydrogen;
- - streptocide tablet;
- - vaseline;
Instruction
1. Before passing directly to processing of the wound, stop bleeding. For this purpose take sterile bandage and scissors cut off from it a small piece which then apply to a wound of an animal. Accurately press bandage to a wound surface, take and make sure that bleeding stopped. If the animal continues to lose blood, then do not hesitate and urgently address the veterinarian!
2. Only having made sure that blood loss does not threaten your cat any more, you pass to processing of the damaged fabrics. Make a tampon of a piece of sterile cotton wool and moisten it in solution of peroxide of hydrogen which possesses disinfecting action. Further carefully and accurately process this cotton tampon area around the wound, deleting bloody and purulent allocations. Do not wash away clotted blood directly in a wound.
3. Take scissors, slightly grease them with vaseline or just wet water and shear them wool around a wound of your animal. Do not use the dry or not greased with vaseline scissors, otherwise you pollute a wound of a cat the sheared wool that is very undesirable. After that attentively examine the damaged fabrics at your favourite regarding detection in them foreign objects, for example, of glass or grains of sand. If you managed to find them, then accurately remove them from there, having used for this purpose the tweezers which are previously processed by vodka or alcohol.
4. The Q-tip moistened in any liquid possessing disinfecting action (it can be brilliant green, iodine, vodka or alcohol), grease skin around a wound. If you near at hand have no special wound healing powders used for processing of wounds in veterinary science take a streptocide tablet which is available almost in each house, pound it in small powder and spray directly on the damaged animal tissues.
5. Cut off a piece of a sterile gauze or bandage and apply it to the place of damage, covering a wound. As it is possible record a bandage bandage stronger and change it twice a day until the wound completely heals.
