Shaving is the procedure promoting that skin regularly gets microinjuries, suffers from irritation, inflammation and dryness. To avoid these unpleasant feelings, the quality shaving cream providing equal sliding of the razor and careful skin care is necessary. It is possible to make such cream in house conditions of natural ingredients.
The shaving cream made on quite simple compounding does not concede to industrial analogs from widely advertized brands at all and costs considerably cheaper, than acquisition of ready-made product.
Besides, house shaving cream promotes removal of irritation and hypersensibility of skin, has the restoring properties, excludes need of use of additional resources of care for skin: aftershave lotions, tonics and creams.
The following ingredients will be necessary for production of self-made cream:
- 2 tablespoons of soap shaving (laundry, children's soap, remnants of a cake of soap of any neutral soap);
- flower water (hydrolat) or the distilled water – 120 ml;
- drill – 5 g;
- jojoba oil or wheat sprouts – 15 ml;
- stearic acid – 30 g;
- essential oil of mint, tea tree, ylang-ylang – 3-4 drops.
As basis flower water is used – it can be hydrolat of camomile, lavender, mint or any other.
The basis is slightly warmed up on water bath, dissolve in it soap shaving and carefully mixed.
While soap is dissolved, on water base heat oil of sprouts of wheat with addition of stearic acid. Acid has to be dissolved well that in ready-made product there were no flakes and crumbs.
After acid completely is dissolved, pour in oil mix in soap base, add to drill and the received weight is shaken up cosmetic nimbus or the mixer.
When mix thickens and will acquire uniform structure, add essential oil to it, once again shake up and the ready-made product is shifted in the capacity which is in advance prepared and disinfected by spirit solution.
Ready shaving cream is stored under cover at the room temperature. Thanks to the softening and looking after ingredients, the product can be used both for men's, and for women's skin.
