Aged about one month the doctors recommend to swaddle kids. Babies are not able to control movements yet, and can be frightened of a sharp wave of a hand or a leg. Besides, they got used to a maternal womb, and in diapers to them is cozier.
It is required to you
- - diaper;
- - baby's undershirt;
- - powder;
- - oil suitable for skin of babies;
- - diaper.
Instruction
1. Before dressing and swaddling the child, you need to process his leather oil, and buttocks and a groin - powder. Accurately take the handle and wipe with the vatochka moistened in oil, its bend. Repeat the procedure with the second handle and legs. Wipe with oil a neck, especially that place where the chin of the kid adjoins to it. It is possible to take usual sunflower oil (some pediatricians recommend it to boil), or special, intended for babies. It does not contain fragrances, and gently looks after skin of the kid.
2. After you process handles and legs, fill a little powder on buttocks and a groin of the kid. It will absorb excess moisture, having saved the child from risk of formation of an intertrigo. Clap in soft places that excess powder was showered.
3. Put on a diaper. Choose it by the size. Too small will press on skin of the kid, and too big - to pass urine.
4. Put on a baby's undershirt. So to the kid will be warmer and more comfortable. Choose cotton things, in them skin "breathes".
5. Spread a diaper on a table or a bed. Put the kid closer to the left or right edge (depending on that, the right-handed person you or the lefthander). Shorter edge of a diaper has to be from that party with which you will begin swaddling.
6. Holding the kid for a stomach, wrap short edge, having palmed off it under a back.
7. Holding the handle of the baby on a tummy, wrap around it wide edge. Enclose a diaper under a back.
8. Lift bottom edge of a diaper upward and wrap up in it the kid around a breast. Wrap the ends for a back, straighten them that it was convenient to lie.
9. Remove one edge upward and record, having inserted it for a diaper on a breast. Straighten a diaper in legs. Everything is ready! It is a little practice, and you learn to swaddle the kid less soon, than in a minute.
