One of wise sayings says: "The education purpose – to teach children to do without us". Parents wish to see the children responsible, collected and independent, however are forced to carry out his household and school chores for the child. How to accustom the child to independence?
Instruction
1. The child has to carry out those duties which correspond to his age. Develop the system of penalties and rewards for each work which needs to be executed. Fine and encourage all family members. It will be fair and will not cause aggressive reaction in the child.
2. Communicate with the child as equals, perceive him as adult – it has rights and duties. Do not go to far in emotions and care, the child has to understand that if he does not make something, it will not be made by nobody.
3. Make sure that the child understands why he has to do any given work: to make a bed, to take out garbage, to water a kitchen garden and so on. Explain to him that each family member is responsible for the "family site". Dad earns money and is responsible for home repair, mom prepares, erases and removes, and children...
4. Stimulate the child to perform any work. For example: it has to take out garbage itself and is gratuitous, and to work in a kitchen garden for a reward. The small sums of money can be an incentive. It will help to accustom the child to independence and in practice will show the price to money.
5. Write down the child in sports section, but it is obligatory on his interests. The sports mode perfectly disciplines and accustoms to concentration and responsibility. Send the child in the summer to the camp or campaigns in which he independently should cope with small difficulties.
6. Hold the ground. Do not carry out children's duties and always realize what you promise, whether it be punishment or encouragement. If your child feels that you "bluff", and any penalty or a reward after your words will not follow, then you will never manage to earn the authority at the child.
