How to change reyta

Rates, or reyta, is a maximum number of the bytes transferred from the server to the user computer per second. Therefore the correct setup of reyt can change considerably the speed and display of such game as, for example, Counter Strike where interaction of the computer client with the server is defining.

Instruction

1. Start the administrator console, having clicked a function key "~". Or open the Setup menu and pass into the Keyboard point. Select the option "In addition" and apply a checkbox in the line "Turn on the Console of a Razarabotka".

2. Study the possible commands used on the computer client, but ignored by the server: - rate - value of number of the bytes transferred by the server to one computer per second; - cmdrate - value of number of the packages transferred from the computer to the server per second; - updaterate - value of number of the packages sent by the server to the computer per second.

3. Check syntax of the commands used on the server, but ignored by the computer client: - sv_maxcmdrate - the maximum cmdrate value of one computer; - sv_mincmdrate - the minimum cmdrate value of one computer; - sv_maxrate - the maximum rate value of one computer; - sv_minrate - the minimum rate value of one computer; - sv_maxupdaterate - the maximum updaterate value of one computer; - sv_minupdaterate - the minimum updaterate value of one computer.

4. Set best values of reyt in the console: - 30000 - for rate; - 100 - for cmdrate and updaterate. It is necessary to consider that the number received at division of rate for 1024 should correspond approximately to actual data load rate in KB/page. Increase in the updaterate parameter can improve considerably firing, but at a low indicator of rate the speed of sending information will not allow to receive from it any benefit.

5. Define choke values, or updates which are not sent because of a connection overload, and loss, or losses of the sent packages by the net_graph 3 command. If necessary execute adjustment of values of reyt according to data retrieveds of loss and choke.
