Every time during your dialog with the interlocutor, the ICQ program automatically saves all history of messages. If necessary you can always browse all archive and also delete it if similar need arises.

Instruction

1. At once it should be noted such moment that the user has a possibility of removal of history of messages not only with the specific interlocutor, but also at once with all people from the contact list. All this becomes several cliques of a mouse, and actions do not demand from the person of any specific skills. Let's consider each of ways of removal of history of messages on a separate example.

2. Removal of history of messages with the specific interlocutor. After you start the ICQ program on the computer, you need to be authorized and wait for full load of the application. On a desktop there will be the main application window where the list of your contacts will be displayed. You in this window need to press the Menu button which you will see in its top part. Having pressed this button, you will see the list of all possible actions with the program. Among the general list of actions you need to click the History point. After you make it, you will see a window of history of all messages.

3. Now you need to find a contact nickname, the history of messages with which you wish to delete. To delete archive of correspondence, click the necessary nickname and click on an icon of the basket located in the right part of a window.

4. If you wish to delete all history of messages at once, you need to perform the same operations which were described in the second step earlier. The difference will be only that in the section of history you will need to click the All Contacts button. Having pressed this button, click a label of the basket which appeared in the right part of a window. After this action all history of correspondence will be erased.
