Instruction
1. It is the best of all to use the router for creation of a wireless network of Wi-fi. This device allows to connect to the Internet several mobile and desktop computers at once. Along with it, you should not connect constantly to the laptop the network cable that will allow to maintain mobility of the computer.
2. Get Wi-Fi the router. In this case it is possible to use practically any device which is suitable for work with your provider. Connect the selected router to the alternating current main. Connect a cable of Internet access to the WAN connector.
3. Find LAN port on the router case and connect to it the network cable. Connect its second end to the network interface card of the laptop. Turn on the mobile computer and start the web browser after loading of the operating system. Enter 192.168.0.1 (192.168.1.1) into an url-line of the program and click the ENTER key. In the opened menu fill the Login and Password fields.
4. Open the Internet Setup menu and select the Manual Internet Connection Setup item. Find the My internet connection is field and select data transmission type which is used by your provider. In this example it will be the PPPoE protocol. Install a tick near the Dynamic PPPoE point. Enter a user name and the password for successful authorization on the server of provider.
5. Find the Connect Mode Select field and set for it Always value. Save settings. Pass into the Wireless Setup menu. Open the Manual Wireless Connection Setup point. Select operation parameters of your wireless access point. These data do not depend on the used provider. Specify such network settings that your mobile computers could be connected to it. It is better to use type of a radio signal 802.11 b/g/n (mixed) and option of the WPA-Personal encryption.
6. Save settings of the router and reboot the equipment, having disconnected it from the alternating current main. After loading of Wi-fi of the router open the Status menu and check activity of connection with the Internet. At connection of the laptop to network select use of the dynamic IP address.
