When you installed houses the Wi-Fi-router, you became more mobile and, one may say, carried out the Internet to each point of the apartment. The last practical step which you needed to make – to connect the laptop to a wireless internet completely to enjoy all opportunities of modern communication.
Instruction
1. Configure access point in the menu of the router. Specify its name by which you will be able to identify it via other devices. Enter the protective code of network which will not allow other users to be connected to your Internet. Make other settings according to the user instruction of the router.
2. For connection to a wireless internet in your laptop the Wi-Fi-module should be installed. Activate it. At the same time on the laptop the diode provided by a design signaling about turning on of the Wi-fi module will light up.
3. Come the laptop into network connections and managements of networks. Run for search of available connections. If at you, for example, OC Windows Vista on the laptop is installed, you can make simpler, having come through the Start menu into the Connection submenu. In the opened window you will select display of wireless networks. Below you will see networks, available for connection.
4. Among the displayed networks find the name of your access point which you entered in settings of the router. To connect the laptop to a wireless internet, select this network and click "Be connected". The computer will request to enter the code which you set along with access point in settings of the router. Having entered the code, you will be able to use a wireless internet from the laptop.
5. Having come into settings of the established wireless connection, you will be able to select different options of connection, for example, automatic installation of communication at stay in a zone of availability of a wireless network that can be very convenient as does not require permanent manual connection after loading of the laptop.
