Many Internet users got used to save links to the websites as bookmarks which are in configuration files of the browser. Though some still, in the old manner, are accustomed to enter links to text files that they were not lost.

Instruction

1. To open a link to the page, it is necessary to copy it and to insert into an address bar of any of the browsers installed on your computer. There are several ways of performing this simple operation. Text files can be opened, both by means of the standard Notepad program of an operating system family of Windows, and by means of the acquired software of MS Word (Microsoft Office Word package).

2. Open the file in which there are links. For its opening double click an icon of the text file or open the text editor, then click the Ctrl+O keyboard shortcut, select the file and click "Open".

3. Select the link. Selection is made by the left mouse button. Pay attention that for correct loading of the Internet page it is necessary to begin selection with http characters. Selection should be finished on a character which will precede a space, for example, of http://сайт.ру/раздел/категория/страница.html.

4. Copying of a highlighted text of the link is made generally by means of "hot keys" (the keyboard shortcut on the keyboard). Click Ctrl+C, also for copying it is possible to use Ctrl+Ins combination. In addition to "hot keys" it is possible to use means of the menu of the used programs. Click the top Editing menu and select the Copy item.

5. Start the browser and insert the copied link into an address bar. The insert by means of "hot keys" is executed by clicking of Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert. When using the menu of the browser the insert is carried out by clicking an element of the top Editing menu and the Insert command. For transition op to the link click the ENTER key.
