Today it is difficult to present the PC without connection through some network. Connections can be separated as network to which connection is carried out. There are several types: connection on a local area network, connection of remote access, connection to VPN (virtual private area network), the direct and entering connections.
Instruction
1. Disconnection of the computer from network is the mandatory requirement before removal of connection of network. Some ways for the connection termination are presented in this instruction. You will select consistently following items: Start, Control Panel, Settings and "Network connections" (Network Connections). All connections of this computer are displayed in a window under the name "Network Connections". The right mouse button select necessary, further in the opened context menu click Disable. This connection will become inactive after a while.
2. If the connection character on a local area network in notification area is displayed, the right mouse button select it. Click "Disconnect" (Disable) in the opened menu. After a while this connection will become inactive.
3. The fastest and easy way of disconnection of the PC from network - detachment of the network cable in the net board from the connector. There will be an inscription "The Network Cable Is Not Connected", the computer at the same time will be switched-off from network.
4. After shutdown of the computer you can start removal of network. Two times right-click on just turned off connection. The properties window of this connection will open. In it the name of the net board (via it and the components used by connection were organized), connection, the description of these components and other information will be displayed.
5. To delete the selected connection, click under the name Uninstall in a properties window. Selected it will be deleted. The ordinary user can delete the connections created only by it. To delete connection which is shared by several users it is necessary to be the member of the group under the name "Operators of Setup of Network" or "Administrators".
