Communication through messages on the Internet differs from a conversation, at least in the fact that it is difficult to transfer emotions and shades of sense. To correct this defect, emoticons were thought up, they are smilies, from the English smile (smile). In many programs there are whole sets of such pictures by which it is possible to transfer practically any mood. And for those who and have not enough of it there is an opportunity to install new smiles, having expanded a palette of emotions.
Instruction
1. Specify the version and the name of your program for message exchange. It is the first step which should be made to increase a set of smilies in your ICQ, QIP, or Trillian. For this purpose start your instant messaging tool, at start you will see a type inscription of ""QIP 2005 build 8097"". QIP 2005 is also the version of your client to which it is necessary to look for a set of smiles.
2. If it is impossible to find out the name and the version of the program from you in the specified way, click a left mouse button "Start-up", select the Programs menu or the search string of programs and look for the folder of your means of exchanging messages, for example, of ICQ 7.2.
3. Start any browser for viewing Internet pages. Open the page of the Google search engine or Yandex and in the search string gather "download smiles for QIP 2005". As the name substitute your version of the program of message exchange.
4. Download archive with new smilies, also they are called by smaylpak. Check it the antivirus software, cases when together with useful programs viruses and other malware extend are frequent.
5. Right-click on archive and select the Extract in the Current Folder item. As a result you will have a directory with the name of a smaylpak in which there will be one more, for example of Smilies, and in it there is a new set of pictures smilies.
6. Right-click on the folder with a name of set of smiles and select the Copy item. Open the folder with your program of message exchange, for example C:\Programm Files\QIP Infium\Smilies. Click the right button in free space of the folder and select a menu item "Insert". In a minute, files of a smaylpak will be copied.
7. Start your program, open the menu, click "Settings" and the Interface or Skins/icons tab. If everything is made correctly, then you will see the menu list from which it will be possible to select a new set of smilies. Click "Apply" also OK to saving settings.
8. Restart the program of message exchange. It is ready, you have a new set of smiles.
