1. Make sure that you do not use access point (APN) intended for WAP. Data transmission through such access point is rated much more expensively (sometimes to hundred times), than through the access point intended for mobile Interneta. Call support desk of the operator and consult how to recustomize the phone or find all data necessary for this purpose on the official site of the operator.
2. Some operators provide Internet access even if phone is not configured or configured incorrectly. However data transmission at the same time in some cases is rated in the same way as though it was carried out through WAP access point. In such situation it is necessary to configure correctly the phone, being guided by the recommendations stated in the previous step.
3. Install on the phone the browser with function of data compression via the external proxy server. There are four such browsers: Opera Mini, Opera Mobile, UCWEB and Bolt.
4. If you use on the Jabber-client phone and use services of the server supporting compression on an algorithm Zlib, include the corresponding function in the client. It becomes differently, depending on what client you use. The volume of traffic will fall several times.
