Settings of social network "VKontakte" allow to accept as the personal letters hidden from foreign users and messages available for viewing to everyone. In this case records are placed on an account wall. As a result of incorrect actions you can hide or delete the message from a wall. In certain cases it still can be restored.
Instruction
1. You can limit viewing your page, some elements will be available only to friends. Records on a wall also belong to their number. If users complain that they cannot see inscriptions from your wall, and you want that persons not from among friends saw inscriptions, come into the section of settings of your page. Click the Privacy tab. Specify in the line "Who Sees Others Records and Comments on My Wall" "All users". To look how other users see your page follow the link located under the Save button. If everything suits you, click "Save".
2. If on any combination of circumstances you turned off commenting of a wall, come into settings, into the General tab. Remove tags opposite to lines: "Show only my records" and "Turn off commenting of a wall". Pay attention that if you checked opposite to the first point, by default there will be fault only your records, all others are available according to the link "to all records". If you turn off commenting of a wall, all comments will be removed and will be unavailable to recovery.
3. If you left record on a wall and accidentally clicked a cross – the icon which is responsible for removal of the comment will appear the inscription "The Message Is Deleted" and nearby the link "Restore". Click it, and the message will be restored, so you can delete and restore the message until refresh the page of the browser. After update the recovery of the comment is impossible. The similar way works for the photos, videos, graffiti, musical compositions and messages sent from applications. And it is possible to restore in this way messages on walls of societies and in comments on content of the page (a photo, video). If you delete someone else's message, restore it in the same way.
4. Recovery of messages and a privacy setting on other social networks can differ a little by names, but the algorithm will remain the same.
