1. Favourite localization of ants are inaccessible places in rooms: in walls under plaster, tile, behind covering, under linoleum, between boards of walls and floor, etc. Therefore one of effective methods of fight against yellow house ants is use of insecticidal food structures baits. Considering that the procedure has to be carried out at the same time in all apartments or rooms of the building, agree with neighbors about possibility of this action.
2. The main component in baits for destruction of yellow ants is solution or powder of sodium of pyroborate (drill). For production of structure use the clean glass or enameled ware. Warm up 100 ml on weak fire. water up to the temperature of 60 °C, add 1 tsp of solution of sodium of pyroborate (drills) or the same volume of solution of boric acid, 4 tsps and glycerin, 3-4 table. l. granulated sugar and 2 tsps of honey. Mix continuously stir slowly until all ingredients are dissolved completely. Pour ready bait in any net tanks of the small size, place in places of congestion of ants. Use bait within 1-3 weeks. After a while repeat.
3. For preparation of dry structure mix 9 parts of icing sugar with 1 part dehydrated drills. Or instead of sugar pound 1 egg yolk hard-boiled previously from 5 g drills. Decompose also in places where there is large number of ants or on their paths. It is possible to prepare also meat bait. For this purpose take 2 tablespoons of mincemeat, add 0.5 tsps of powder drills. Mix and decompose to similarly previous baits.
4. Also ants frightens off smell of leaves of elder, wormwood, wild mint, sunflower oil, leaves of elder, wild mint and wormwood. Use as alternative method and these means.
5. Surely carry out thorough cleaning of rooms after completion of fight against yellow ants.
