The Traffic Inspector program is the proxy server via which an output of one or several computers in network is carried out. The administrator can control completely traffic, has an opportunity to configure the network screen of the program, having ensured the maximum safety of use of the Internet. At a release of the new version of the program there is a problem of update old with saving all existing settings of a system.
Instruction
1. Before update of the Traffic Inspector program it is necessary to create the copy of the folder in which the program is installed to restore it in case of need. In order that in the new version to save all settings of old, copy the database and the configuration file.
2. Do not forget to check a product activation key. If the term of access to this update expired before date of production of a distribution kit, it will be impossible to activate a distribution kit.
3. For transition from version 2.0 on new 2.0.1 at first it is necessary to uninstall the previous version of the program. For this purpose come into "Installation and removal of programs", find in the Traffic Inspector list and click "Delete". Do not forget before removal of the program to make the copy of the folder in which it was installed. It will allow to restore the old version, in case of need. Settings of the program at uninstallation are not removed.
4. After removal of the program start installation of the new version (in the same folder where there was old). If you want to transfer to the new version of the Config and Data folder, before copying stop Traffic Inspector service.
5. To pass from version 1.1.5 to 2.0.1, transfer settings of clients, balances and data plans by means of "The master of transition". Consider that in the course of work of the Master the restart of a session and transfer of the remains will be made, at the same time the session of billing will be closed. Pay attention that transfer of statistics, the SMTP gateway, dens of the proxy server and also data from external counters is impossible.
6. Start the master of transfer of a configuration – an executable file of GotoTI20.exe in the zip archive of the program. As soon as the master finishes the work, check all Traffic Inspector settings: rates, filters, rules, balance, etc. If you plan use of group accounts, update agents on client computers.
7. Upon transition from the version of program 1.1.4 on new 2.0.1 only settings, passwords, logins and user groups will be transferred. Reconfiguration of all rules and filters of the program will be required.
