Many users configure favourite programs on the personal computer under the needs, but often face such problem how to return standard settings. Developers of the Opera browser did not set in settings function of return to value by default. It is big minus in use of this program. Do not despair, an output from this situation is simple.
Instruction
1. To return to the initial Opera settings, many users just delete the browser and reinstall it again. This option not so difficult, but cannot give absolute confidence that after reinstallation of the browser the standard settings will be completely restored. As is well-known the program leaves files with settings on your computer, and during the repeated Opera installation is returned to it. As a result the problem remains unresolved.
2. To return to initial settings of values by default in the Opera browser, open "Menu" of the program, select the Help tab. Click the inscription "About the Program". The special page on which all paths on which "Opera" saves the data are specified will open. Offered select the topmost from all, under the name "Setup".
3. Find the final folder in the specified settings and open it. In it there is a file under the name "Operaprefs.ini". Delete it. If in your operating system the Display of Expansions of Files function is turned off, then this file will have the name "Operaprefs". After this procedure reboot the Opera browser then all available settings will return to an initial status.
4. If you the beginning user who did not seize all knowledge of the personal computer yet then it is difficult to find the necessary folder path with settings for you. The fact is that many folders are hidden. That to correct it and to open visibility of folders, open a window of the conductor "Windows". Click a tab "Service", then "Properties of the folder". Select the line "View" and select a checkbox in the Display the Hidden Files and Folders point. Now you will be able to use the opera in the form in which it was before damage of files!
