In the majority of modern apartments for heating stationary radiators of heating are used. To avoid overexpenditure of heat and to provide its economy, it is important to connect heating correctly. Schemes of connection of radiators can be different, but the general technology of equipment installation in all cases approximately same.

1. Get acquainted with different options of connection of heating radiators. Most often one-sided side connection meets. At the same time the bringing pipe joins the top branch pipe of radiator, and taking away is mounted to lower. This way of connection guarantees the best heat emission. But if you use multisection radiators, then it is desirable to install the additional extender of channel of the heat carrier that the last sections heated up sufficiently.
2. If heating pipes are hidden under plinth or in floor, use the lower connection of radiator of heating. At such option both branch pipes are located below and sent vertically to floor. This way is more esthetic.
3. Try to apply the diagonal scheme of connection to the radiators incorporating significant amount of sections. In this case the pipe bringing water joins the top branch pipe, and the back run of water is carried out through the lower branch pipe leaving on the other side of radiator.
4. After the choice of the specific scheme dismantle old radiator. If the new heating appliance has other sizes, remove former fixture and fix into wall fastening elements for new system. Most often electric heaters put under window opening. To provide normal heat exchange, the new radiator should be established so that the distance between the top cut of the device and windowsill was approximately equal 10 cm, and the distance to wall was about 3-5 cm.
5. Make sure that brackets are fixed reliably and will not allow radiator to move freely. Hang new radiator on brackets and connect the direct and return pipes conducting from all-house heating services to its branch pipes. It is also recommended to install on radiator the so-called crane of Mayevsky by means of which it is convenient to bring excess air out of system.
6. With approach of heating season make sure of correct action of heating services. After check of system with the operating heat carrier eliminate possible leaking of water, having twirled connections more densely.
