The next stage – mounting of the foam window slopes and overwriting of roughnesses coarse-grained abrasive paper. Slopes can be bought ready or to cut out from the remained foam plates. Them fix on generous portions of glue and in addition fix nails or anchors.
After alignment of plate plaster. At first impose draft layer, then the armoring lattice follows from fiber glass. It is in addition fixed dowels, twisting them in damp plaster coat. Each tile is strengthened from 4 corners and on the center. Completion phase – finishing plaster. That she has laid down ideally exactly, mix is dissolved slightly stronger, than it is specified in the instruction. Plaster has to flow down from the palette, it is applied in several thin layers, slightly drying everyone.
In 1-2 days, finishing plaster is ground by abrasive paper or zatirochny grid. After that the foam covering can be painted or covered with decorative color plaster. If additional finishing work is not supposed, process comes to an end with putting finishing soil.
The foam tile on ceiling: it is cheap and practical
The ceiling tile is suitable for fast and very budgetary repair. With its help it is easy to hide old leakages, the peeled-off plaster, roughnesses and small slots. It is possible to find the foam tile with various drawing in sale. Fix it on special glue or liquid nails, drills and dowels will not be required.
Standard ceiling tiles have square shape with the parties on 50 cm. Stack it from room cent. Convenient datum point – chandelier. It is better to buy material with stock, in the course of work it will be required to cut squares, some can be spoiled. Before work the ceiling is cleaned from dust, large slots are closed up and ground. All surface becomes impregnated with primer and is dried.
For fastening it is the most convenient to use glue in tubas. The assembly gun on the return surface of tile squeezes out the fixing structure in the form of strips or zigzags. The tile is put to ceiling so that glue has spread on surface. Then the tile is removed, postponed for 3-5 minutes and smear following. Slightly dried up glue is fixed much better.
After the ceiling is pasted over with tile, there comes the plinth turn. It is carefully measured, cut off sharp knife and fix liquid nails end-to-end, without gaps. The foam tile can be painted with aqueous emulsion or acrylic ink. The ceiling perfectly transfers 6-7 colourings, then the tile is recommended to be replaced.
Dressing by polyfoam: well and simply
Do various elements for external and internal decor of polyfoam and expanded polystyrene. Earlier such products were made of plaster, modern materials it is much cheaper, easier, simpler in mounting. Among the most popular elements:

- decorative semi-columns;
- sandrik;
Products are carried out in different styles: baroque, rococo, antique, modernist style. That the interior looked harmoniously, it is necessary to use elements in one style. Parts from polyfoam are not in harmony with natural wood or stone. The best partners: the panels covered with film, plastic, decorative plaster, opal or transparent glass.
For external works it is better to use more durable and strong products from extruded polystyrene foam. The internal decor is made of polyfoam which is much more available at the price. Elements fix on special glue or liquid nails, additional fixing is recommended by self-tapping screws or anchors. It concerns especially large, volume and heavy parts of type of sandrik or capitals. After mounting the decorative parts can be painted with opaque or gloss acrylic paint.
