If you in the apartment have noticed several ants, then you should not close eyes to it, and better to cut take measures for extermination of these insects as there is probability that only several days later ants will captivate all house.
Fight against ants needs to be begun at once as you will notice these insects in the apartment. To get rid of them though not simply, however it is quite real, the main thing to know effective ways. It is worth remembering that just to get rid of visible ants - useless business, if to destroy them, then after a while they will be replaced by new.
The only way yielding 100% result of extermination of these insects - to promote that ants have brought poison to the slots. Folk remedies on ants in the apartment are generally based on use of such product as boric acid (this substance is very poisonous for ants because of its ability to corrode cover on body of these representatives of fauna).
So, take small amount of sugar, as much honey and boric acid, add so much water that very dense syrup has turned out to mix (It should be noted that the amount of boric acid should not exceed 1/3 parts of mix, otherwise ""delicacy"" will kill insects ahead of time, without having allowed them to bring at the same time poison to the slots).
After mix is ready, pour it in small tanks, for example in covers, and place in places of the greatest congestion of ants. Leave mix for week, at the same time glance: if contents dry up, then add new portions. If in your house there are pets, then observe care measures: place ""delicacy"" there where the pet will not be able to reach.
Also for scaring away of ants it is possible to use mint, wormwood and elder: it is necessary to grind hands leaves of these plants, to fill in them with unrefined oil, to spread out mix in wide tanks and to place in places of congestion of insects. The smell of similar mix is intolerable for ants.
As for purchased chemical means which are capable to help with fight against ants concern them the Raptor, Raid, Frontline, Dokhlos, etc. It is the best of all to use these means on several types at once, for example, at the same time to spread out two-three types of the poisoning granules or couple of types of poisonous gel in places of congestion of insects.
