1. First of all it is necessary to choose location of future lake. To protect it from possible rushes of cold wind, take care of that the bushes and trees growing on the site were north of reservoir. They at the same time will not begin to interfere with penetration of sunshine on the surface of the lake.
2. The effect of natural reservoir can achieve if to make the lake in form to give to non-uniform, and its coast tortuosity. If the area of personal plot allows, it is possible to arrange the small island, having planted on it beautiful flowers or other plants.
3. The surface of the lake can be decorated with the lilies or other ornamental plants growing in water. It is easy to create imitation of lake thickets, having landed acorus, fern or iris on reservoir perimeter.
4. But just to dig hole and to fill it with water insufficiently. It is necessary to make so that the soil was not washed away by water. For this purpose at first remove all fertile layer and remove all plant debris. The ditch can give the form any, but walls have to be inclined planes.
5. Walls and bottom of future lake are revetted with waterproof materials. It can be carefully mixed clay, for example. 7. Already ready bottom of dammed lake you can multi-colored crushed stone, marine rubble or normal stones.
