1. If you need to calculate amount of cement and sand for plastering of wall, take lighthouses and expose them on wall on vertical level, watching that thickness of future plaster was not less than 1.5 cm.
2. Take tape measure and measure wall height and its width, multiply these values among themselves – you have received the area of the plastered surface. If the wall not equal and thickness of plaster is not identical, then make measurements of this thickness in different places, and after that put among themselves the obtained data and separate them into the number of measurements. Turned out number is the average thickness of plaster. Increase the area of wall by the average thickness of the plastered layer. You have received the volume of cement and sand mix.
3. Solution includes sand and cement in certain proportions, it is very wrong to mix them without check. Calculate cement absorptivity of sand. For this purpose take one bucket of sand and add to it 1/4 part of cement. Pe6remeshayte also put solution back in bucket. 4. Calculate exact consistence of solution. Usually 1:4 turns out. Separate the volume received from the previous calculations on 4 plus 1. You have received number which corresponds to amount of cement, all the rest sand.
5. To calculate amount of hard putty on the equal wall, act so: multiply the area of wall by 2 mm where 2 mm are standard thickness of layer of putty which you apply on wall. You have received the volume of the required putty. To learn quantity of bags on performance of work, separate this volume into 25, consider density coefficient which is specified on bags, usually it is equal to 0.1.
6. When calculating sheet and tiled materials take in attention to throw out the fact that you should use integral sheets, and scraps. Therefore at first calculate quantity of integral plates, and then think over whether it is possible, having separated plates into parts, to use both half (it will reduce the number of waste significantly).
