It is easy for mango to grow up from stone in house conditions. The exotic evergreen tree will become decoration of house greenhouse, and in six years will please with the first fruits. However, the grown-up houses from stone, they can differ in unusual taste.
Instruction
1. Pave the way. Gain nutritious structure in specialized shop; mix of sheet and cespitose soil will be optimum.
2. Prepare capacity for landing. The pot for landing of plant has to be spacious – roots of mango grow quickly and form powerful branched system. Provide good drainage, lay out pot bottom the granulated structures. The bottom of capacity has to be rather firm to limit rapid growth of powerful root rod.
3. Process stone. To grow up mango from stone it is necessary to get the ripened fruit. Only the fresh stone from ripe fruit has good chances of germination. Completely separate fruit pulp from stone and open firm cover, taking seed. Place seed in weak solution of potassium permanganate for fungicide processing.
4. Plant seed. Place the processed seed in pot the narrow end, the top of seed has to remain on surface.
5. Create the corresponding conditions for germination of seed. Mango – plant tropical therefore loves abundant moistening and high temperatures (22-24os). If necessary provide additional heating and artificial lighting. Because of rapid growth it is better to grow up plant in winter gardens. Support the high level of humidity indoors - it is additional protection of escapes against wreckers.
6. Water plant according to development phases. Young plants need abundant and frequent watering. During maturing of fruits the watering needs to be reduced, and after harvesting the watering is increased for the purpose of creation of conditions for repeated blossoming.
7. Periodically fertilize plant. The complex balanced fertilizers with nitrogen content are suitable for fertilizing. It is necessary to fertilize plant not less once during the season.
