Plastic bottles decay under natural conditions about 500 years. Use of bottle plastic as improvised construction material not only saves Earth from excess garbage, but also allows to create extremely strong buildings. Free polymer instead of going to dump, can easily turn into the greenhouse for cultivation of vegetables.
One of advantages of plastic in construction of the greenhouse is that frames for its installation are required much easier and, unlike glass, this material does not fight. It is possible to use plastic bottles for this purpose in different ways, applying the whole, or cut tanks.
The greenhouse from the whole bottles
On the greenhouse of the small size about 400 empty bottles are required. It is desirable that their plastic was soft, and the size identical. Best of all 1.5 liter tanks are suitable for this purpose. The bottom of each bottle is cut off on curve so that to receive diameter of bore slightly less than diameter of bottle. In advance prepare wooden framework on which all plastic design will fasten. The bottle with the cut-off neck is fastened to frame by means of self-tapping screws. Insert capacity with the cut-off bottom into it and further bottles string at each other, applying pressing to structural strength. So all frame opening is filled.
For strengthening of durability in each bottle stretch strong nylon thread. The last row is also fixed to framework by self-tapping screws and the turned-out bottle pipes fix by wide adhesive tape. Additional stretching of the ready greenhouse polyethylene film allows to grow up vegetables even in cold time without use of additional heating.
The greenhouse from the cut bottles
For such greenhouse at bottle delete the top and lower parts, and then cut it lengthways on all length. It is possible to give plasticity flatness having ironed it not the really hot iron, and previously having closed dense paper. The received sheets are sewed in uniform cloth, using for this purpose pricker and soft metal wire. There is way of connection of pieces of plastic the stapler, but subsequently it can turn out that such fastening will not resist wind gusts. Normal threads are subject to rotting, and the fishing line will not resist heating from sunshine. The ready plastic cloth is strengthened to previously prepared framework self-tapping screws or nails. If to make the greenhouse of two types of plastic bottles - dark beer and light transparent, then it will please the owner with unknown harvest. Alternation of different pieces of plastic will promote the balanced hit of sunlight to plants. It is possible to apply different types of plastic to production of each party of construction, being guided by more sunny or dark side.
