The measurement of window is important procedure on which correctness of performance depends as the established metalplastic window will look. There has to be "pharmaceutical" accuracy.

- - handle or pencil.
1. Begin measurement of future plastic windows with definition of "quarter". In this case understand ledge of external perimeter of window opening as "quarter". External part of box rests against this ledge. In the majority of houses "quarter" is, the exception is made only by the buildings built on special design. So, if you have not found ledge, then measure width of window opening and its length, and then to the received results add five centimeters (such allowance becomes for polyurethane foam). Write down data.
2. If the ledge is available, the external plane of window profile is on internal part of vertical plane of this "quarter". So, it turns out that the window by the sizes will be more ledge, but it should not be as for mounting of too large window it is necessary to increase in addition window opening in wall. To make measurements correctly, measure outer edges of ledge. After you learn length and width of window, to the received results add five centimeters and write down them.
3. Measure the windowsill size. Its length will equal to distance between two in parallel the going slopes which are located perpendicularly to windowsill. To measure windowsill depth, apply the beginning of measuring tape to window frame and record value at edge of windowsill (the measuring tape has to be located near slope).
4. Measure slope width: from window casement prior to the beginning of wall.
5. Determine water outflow depth. To make it, measure distance from frame to slope corner (do measurements from outer end).
