Flowers in pots became alternative to normal bouquet long ago. Such gift will keep freshness and relevance not only during couple of days after holiday - it will please the owner still for many years. That the gift did not look too simply, decorate flowerpot, having made with packing with own hands.
Instruction
1. Not to rumple flowers in transportation time, weave for them basket. The willow rod will become ideal material for this purpose. Cut off branches 1.5 m long, remove from them bark and split everyone on 3 strips. Leave rods to dry in the sun within two days. Just before the beginning of weaving wet them in water for couple of hours.
2. Make basket bottom. For this purpose from plywood cut circle which diameter on 1 cm exceeds diameter of pot with flower. On perimeter of circle drill holes for insertion of rods. The quantity of the openings located equally spaced has to be odd. Insert rods into openings, them fix the end under bottom by means of the furniture stapler. Lift all branches up and on the end intercept elastic band. Fill space between rods horizontal ranks. Take the first branch, carry out it under the first vertical rod, remove outside and round following vertical "beam", then again fill inside. The following horizontal rods have also. When the basis is finished, bend tops of vertical rods inside and fix by the stapler. It is possible to tie rope handles to basket or also to weave them out of rod.
3. Simpler option of packing – box of cardboard. Make it in the form of octahedral prism. Construct the development of this figure consisting their eight equal rectangles. Total width of rectangles has to be 2-5 cm more, than diameter of pot with flower. To one of rectangles add the drawing of bottom and top edge of box – they consist of eight equal parties. Add narrow strips valves by means of which it will be possible to connect elements in the whole figure. Transfer the drawing to beautiful and rather rigid cardboard, cut it. On lines of bend from inner side with effort carry out by pencil. Bend box and stick together it.
4. If you have no time for long registration of gift, pack flower in pot into paper. Choose thin gift paper. Cut out from it circle. To calculate circle radius, to the radius of pot add height from pot bottom to flower top, then add on 5 more cm. In the center of circle put pot, lift edges of paper up, forming folds on each side. From above tie paper tape.
