At construction of your house or repair sooner or later you will face that you need to prepare concrete. And there is question as to prepare it that it was qualitative. The concrete mix is prepared from cement, sand, crushed stone and water.
It is required to you
- - cement;
- - sand;
- - crushed stone;
- - water (the amount of water is defined in the course of preparation);
- - capacity for concrete solution (construction board or normal bathtub on 200 liters);
- - shovel of sovok type.
Instruction
1. Decide on the place where you intend to prepare concrete, put capacity there.
2. In capacity prepare dry mix from cement (brand 400 portland cement), clean and coarse sand (sifted) and small crushed stone (fraction of 5-30 mm). Then carefully mix it shovel.
3. After mixing of weight on the center make dredging to which in the small portions add clear water. Badly purified run-off water cannot be applied. Water has to conform to the standard drinking and not have foreign impurity, especially acids, alkalis, oils and sugars that will lead to concrete strength reduction. It is necessary to add water until mix does not gain consistence of dense cottage cheese. Periodically mix needs to be interfered with shovel, moving it from one end of capacity to another that you have not gone too far and have not made it too liquid. Durability of ready concrete depends on quality of hashing in very big degree. When scooping it has to keep the form and not flow down from shovel.
4. After concrete is mixed, leave it for several minutes that in it small air bells have appeared, work with it will go quicker and easier. Use concrete as soon as possible (before it begins to harden) therefore time matters. In general, it should not exceed 1.5 hours from the moment of mixing at ambient temperature not above 20 °C if temperature is higher - no more than an hour.
