What sharp would not be knives, over time almost all of them are in a stupor. And inevitably there is question as to grind them. It is possible to make it differently, using various methods and devices. As a rule, it does not represent special complexity.
Instruction
1. Grinding stone. By means of this method sharpened knives in extreme antiquity. The stone for sharpening has to be equal, its middle should not have dredging and cracks. It is the best of all if bar (stone) long, on it is more convenient to sharpen knives. And here width is not so important. The stone should be put on plain surface, when sharpening not to shift in the parties. Take knife the left hand for edge, and right – for the handle. At a small angle put edge (that part which is closer to the handle) on stone. Then smoothly displace knife edge from yourself and back. It is necessary to grind thus both parties of edge.
2. Emery machine. If you have such adaptation, it is possible to grind knives. Turn on the machine and conduct there and back knife blade on edge of crossing of face and cylinder of circle. Usually on the machine there are 2 circles, one is necessary for initial, more rough sharpening, another – for final operational development.
3. Disk grinder. This quite simple device which is not demanding special ability for sharpening of knives. Insert knife into the grinder and sharply carry out by edge on groove. The knife will be ground quickly, but also quickly and will become blunted again.
4. Mug from ceramics. If you have no devices for sharpening of knives, but there is ceramic mug, it is possible to use it. Invert mug and you drive knife blade on speakers to parts of collum. Do so until the knife does not become sharp.
5. Mussat. It is special rod with grooves, similar to round file. Take it in the left hand, and knife – in right, several times move edge on rod. The knife will not be ground, but its cutting edge will be corrected.
