Too much trouble upon gardeners is brought by "potato tiger" - Colorado beetle. This insect – the real thunderstorm of potato fields: the Colorado beetle is very prolific, gluttonous and hardy. However it is possible to gain victory over this wrecker nevertheless.

Instruction
1. It is necessary to begin fight against Colorado beetle during landing time of potatoes. For this purpose place onions peel ("the potato tiger" does not love smell of the decaying onions peel) in each hole or you opudrit poles wood ashes. The hostility causes in Colorado beetle also aroma of coniferous tree therefore when landing potatoes it is possible to add the crushed bark or sawdust of needles to each hole.
2. As soon as there ascend potato bushes, spray them with cindery infusion. For its preparation mix 2 kg of wood ashes from 10 l of water, and after each liter of the turned-out solution part 10 l of water.
3. Place on the site banks traps (at the rate of 1 bank on 5 square meters). For preparation of such traps grease neck of each capacity with potato juice, and on bottom banks put several pieces of favourite delicacy of Colorado beetle. These "traps" it is necessary to check and destroy every day all insects who have got to them.
4. Effective remedy at fight against "potato tiger" - walnut. Since fall prepare leaves and shell, and in 3 weeks prior to mass appearance of Colorado beetle prepare infusion (on 2 kg of nut mix 10 l of water are required). Before spraying it is necessary to filter this infusion twice.
5. Bean cultures and summer garlic frighten off Colorado beetle therefore plant these plants near potatoes. From such neighbourhood it will become more fruitful and besides in economy garlic and beans will never prevent.
6. In fight against this harmful insect it is possible to use also chemical means. The most widespread class of insecticides – pyrethroids which Intavir, Detsis, "Face", "Spark" and other medicines treat. However pyrethroids resistance of Colorado beetle is observed therefore chemical means of this group are not always effective.
7. It is possible to use also medicines of other classes, for example, of neonikotonoida (Aktara and Mospilan). If in the summer cool and damp, it is recommended to apply bacterial means of Boverin. And better will be suitable for fight against small larvae to Dimilin.
