The ability to correctly twist and unscrew screws is necessary for each house master. For implementation of this operation by the industry the wide range of tools is issued - from simple screw-drivers to electric screw drivers.
1. Before carrying out any operation with the screw, make sure that its removal or addition will not lead to jamming of the mechanism and the subsequent its destruction, falling of object, removal of cover behind which there are moving or current carrying parts and also that your hands or the tool will not appear in close proximity to such parts. If necessary, stop or deenergize the device with which you are going to work.
2. Correctly pick up the screw-driver or replaceable sting. Do not try to turn off, say, the screw with cross head the slit screw-driver even if it turns out. The size of sting is also important - it has to approach slit and in this parameter.
3. It is especially important to provide correct combinations of slit and sting if you are engaged in repair of mobile phones. Do not try to use for this purpose the cross screw-driver at all (except offices of Samsung where such screws are sometimes used). Do not regret funds for special set, and it will pay off after repair of the first device because you will repair it instead of acquisition new.
4. If your screw-driver has the replaceable bits fastening by means of magnet or ball with spring develop habit when changing sting immediately to put previous in box and to close it. If not to develop this habit, soon you will lose all bits.
5. Unless otherwise specified, when twisting the screw rotate it clockwise, when untwisting - against. The exception is made by screws with left-hand thread. If from the opposite side there is nut, hold it with key or flat-nose pliers.
6. Never put to the screw when twisting excessive efforts, otherwise it is possible to strip thread. Especially it is important during the work with the screw driver. Learn to use the effort limiter which is built in it.
7. Together with the screw driver use only the bits intended for this purpose. Carry out switching of rotating direction by means of the switch of the reverse close to trigger.
