Instruction
1. Estimate the general condition of table: check whether there is no wood damage by bugs wood borers who can lodge in furniture at any time.
2. Remove all decorative and acting elements – in this case they will not prevent further repair, will not be able to be oxidized and change color of tree.
3. Examine table mechanisms by means of which boxes are closed or various regiments move. If necessary grease them or replace with new.
4. Check durability of connection of all elements of table and if necessary carry out new gluing all constructive parts, it is desirable with use of quality glue for tree.
5. Zashkurte furniture surface at first large, and then fine-grained emery cloth (in case the table had varnish covering). Then paint table the furniture varnish suitable on quality.
6. Cover table surface with special mordant for processing of tree – it will allow to show better structure of tree, especially if for production of table wood of valuable breeds was used.
7. Leave table for some time in order that the mordant was well absorbed in structure of tree and has dried.
8. Carry out repeated covering of all outer surfaces of furniture by varnish for wood. Two or three times, but every time only after full drying of the put previous varnish coat are better to carry out such processing.
9. If on the surface of wood dents were formed, then considerably to update old table: Remove everything the acting and decorative elements and completely remove the previous paint or varnish. For removal of paint it is possible to use oshkurivaniye at small coat of paint on furniture or to delete paint by means of special solvents.
10. Estimate condition of table and all its elements. For repair of defects of wooden furniture use special putty from the wood fine-grained dust and furniture varnish mixed to density of sour cream. Fill with the received mix defects on furniture surface, and then leave to dry out. After full hardening of varnish you zashkurit furniture and decorate it further.
