Rose – one of the most beautiful plants which can decorate any garden. But to grow up rose independently – difficult task, she demands knowledge and abilities of professional gardeners, rose quite whimsical flower.
Landing of roses
For a start, it is necessary to buy rose. It is better that the plant was with the closed root system. When landing you should not clean root from the earth which is already available on it, for plant it will be much better if it remains. To accelerate growth of flower root it is necessary to water with special solution of heteroauxin or kornevin. Before the landing the roots of rose need to be cut off on third of their length.
Garden roses prefer solar sites. The place has to be well aired, but protected from strong wind. On badly lit site of rose grow very poorly, seldom blossom and start up blind escapes. The best season for planting of roses are fall.
The landing hole has to correspond to plant on depth and width that it was free to roots. Before landing the hole needs to be watered, it is possible to fill with organic fertilizers.
Care for garden roses
The flower is processed prior to active growth of kidneys. Usually it occurs in the early spring or at the end of winter. The plant needs to be tied up in time. The rose very much loves various fertilizing. The best fertilizing for it is manure. To feed up it is necessary to stop rose at the end of July that the flower could get well ready for winter. The rose needs to be watered constantly, without getting on leaves. But if on the street there is strong heat, it is better to spray leaves of plant with special solutions, for example, humate of potassium or epiny. Preparation of plant for winter begins at the end of August. For a start it is necessary to stop cutting off flowers. Thanks to it escapes will begin to fade and it will help rose to transfer better winter. Also loosening and watering of the earth stops. For the winter the rose is warmed by film, and the bush is hilled by the earth on 20 cm.
Cutting of roses
Care for roses consists in regular removal of old and sick escapes. Cutting helps emergence of young escapes. It needs to be carried out by sharp and clean tool. Escape is cut off to healthy kidney, the cut needs to be done at an angle in 45 degrees. It is better to grease the place of cut with special medicine or solution of potassium permanganate.
Reproduction of garden rose
The garden rose can be multiplied rooting of shanks, layers or division of bush. Shanks almost all grades of garden rose breed. Branches should not be green and too young. Such, most likely, will not be able to take roots. Shanks are cut in the spring or in the fall. It have to be one-year escapes about 10 cm long, with 3-5 kidneys. The cut-off shanks for the winter need to be put to the basement in bucket with sand, at the same time they should be covered with glass jar for maintenance of necessary humidity. The most convenient way of reproduction is layers. In the spring, without waiting dismissing kidneys, sprouts of bush nestle and dug in in ditch at depth about 5 cm. Next spring layers can be separated from adult plant. One more way of reproduction of rose is division of bush. It can be done both in the winter, and in the fall. For this purpose the bush is dug out and cut on several parts. Each part has to have root and at least one escape.
