1. Inappropriate conditions for cultivation. Watering of cucumbers has to be carried out quite often. This hygrophilous plant. The lack of moisture influences emergence of yellowness of ovary and leaves. It is better to carry out watering in early hours or late at night daily if weather rather dry. The subforage in the form of wood ashes and urea will supply cucumbers with potassium and nitrogen. Useful substances contain in cow, chicken dung therefore radical fertilizing should be made at the slightest signs of shortcoming.
2. If ovaries of cucumbers turn yellow, then, most likely, they remain not pollinated. Often insects have no opportunity to pollinate ovary, and it turns yellow and falls down. Only the pollinated plants give productivity. For this purpose it is necessary to provide access of insects to ovaries in the closed space (if it is hotbed or the greenhouse) and if it is impossible, then to make pollination in the manual way. Cultivation of the self-pollinated grades, hybrids will be the best decision.
3. Sharp temperature differences can quite become the reason of why ovaries of cucumbers turn yellow, and the productivity decreases. The reason consists in ability of cucumber roots to absorb nutrients only at temperature above 10 °C. At low temperature the ability is minimized, and ovaries begin to lose nutrients and to turn yellow. Such differences contribute to the development of fungal diseases of cucumber roots and their mass defeat. In this case only fertilizing of roots can save.
4. What to do if ovaries of cucumbers, though temperature quite acceptable, and watering timely turn yellow. It is possible that the reason for all this is the scorching sun. It is necessary to transplant cucumbers in the shaded territory. The bright sun is capable to burn leaf and ovary, especially if on them when watering water has got. Therefore it is necessary to water only at the roots, avoiding hit on ovary.
5. Defeat by such parasites as plant louse, web tick, is led to defeat of cucumber liana. Ovaries do not manage to yield fruits. If ovaries of cucumbers turn yellow, then it is necessary to check plant for availability of parasites carefully. At detection of such problem it is necessary to carry out spraying by special means.
6. It is capable to strike cucumbers and bacteriosis. Too high humidity of mail can lead to defeat therefore at detection of bacteriosis it is necessary to spray plant with the Bordeaux solution.
7. Large number of ovaries can lead to their yellowing too. Large number of ovaries consumes much more nutrients. Therefore on one liana their quantity should not exceed 30. The big crop of cucumbers will allow to receive the correct and timely care for culture.
