Landing of gladioluses can be made since the spring and finishing late fall. However, at autumn landing it is big risk that the plant will not manage to take roots and by the period of blossoming will be weak and lifeless. For this reason it is more preferable to plant gladioluses in the spring.
Land culture bulbs. If bulbs have been bought, it is possible to start landing at once if are dug out till fall and were stored in the fridge, a month before disembarkation they need to be got. It is necessary to begin disembarkation to the open ground when temperature of the soil is heated-up to 8 degrees on depth about 10-12 centimeters. In southern latitudes the disembarkation is made already since the beginning of April not to tighten and to wait for temptation of the soil. And here in the Urals and in Siberia the best time the end of May - the beginning of June is considered. Then it is already possible not to be afraid of return of cold weather and incessant rains.
The place needs to be chosen as solar and closed from wind. It is better if to plant gladioluses along fence or sunny side of wall of the house.
