Fragrant herring of a house salting – a good choice for the festive and daily menu. This small fish can quite become a basis for salad or snack, and can be served to a table as addition to fresh boiled potatoes.

It is required to you

  • - a herring fresh-frozen - 5 pieces;
  • - salt - 5 tablespoons;
  • - black pepper peas of-10 pieces;
  • - bay leaf - 5 pieces;
  • - water - 1 liter;
  • - deep basin or bowl;
  • - plate.

Instruction

1. Defreeze herring and accurately wash out its baking plate a stream of cool water. Take a deep basin and lay in it a herring backs down. Fish has to go in in one row. Cover herring with a flat plate, so that it didn't emerge.

2. Prepare a brine. Add salt, bell pepper and bay leaf to water. Bring mix to the boil, and then at once remove from fire. Now wait for full cooling of a brine. 3. It isn't recommended to store such herring in a brine longer time. After the necessary time take fish, draw her and cut on small pieces. Lay salty herring in a plastic container and remove in the freezer. If necessary just get and defreeze at the room temperature.
