How to cook roast home-style

Roast home-style – a simple and tasty dish from a series "for every day". Its preparation doesn't take a lot of time, and the good hostess always has all ingredients near at hand.

It is required to you

  • 5 kg of potatoes;
    • 5 kg of meat (pork or beef)
    • 1 bulb;
    • 2 garlic gloves;
    • 1 large carrots;
    • 1 paprika;
    • 1 tomato;
    • adjika;
    • salt
    • spices;
    • sunflower oil.

Instruction

1. Cut meat small pieces. If for roast you chose beef, then it is better to pickle it previously. Chop small onions, mix it with meat. Salt a little and pepper. Sprinkle the diluted vinegar. Leave in the fridge for 2-3 hours. So meat will turn out softer.

2. Cut onions and paprika with rings, tomato – small segments. Chop carrots, small chop garlic. Peel potatoes. Wash out and cut small pieces. That potatoes didn't turn black, fill in it with cold water.

3. Warm sunflower oil in a cauldron. Lay out in it meat. When it turns white, add onions. Fry meat to a golden crust. You watch that burned nothing.

4. Connect meat to tomatoes, paprika and carrots. Add a little adjika – if you don't love too sharp, will be thirds of a teaspoon enough. Salt that vegetables quickly gave juice. Cover and extinguish within 10-15 minutes. Then send to a cauldron of spice and garlic. Well mix.

5. Best of all as seasonings to use a black pepper, a curry, cumin and a turmeric. It is also possible to take ready mix of seasonings: "hmeli-tsunel", "universal" and to them similar.

6. Add potatoes to vegetables. Fry it in a cauldron a little, then fill in with warm boiled water. Liquid has to cover vegetables hardly. Taste broth. If there isn't enough salt or spices – add also them.

7. You stew roast on slow fire with slightly slightly opened cover within 20-25 minutes. As soon as potatoes become soft, and the most part of liquid will be evaporated – switch off a plate and densely cover a cauldron. Let's infuse to a dish of 15-20 minutes and give on a table.

8. Salad from a fresh vegetables, sauerkraut or pickles with tomatoes perfectly will approach roast home-style. Enjoy your meal!
