Historical formation of uniform Germany left a mark on development of a state language of the country. In Europe there is no similar quantity of various dialects, as in the German lands anywhere.
The German (German) dialects so strongly differ from each other that often Germans from the South badly understand Germans from the North. Since feudal fragmentation till present there is a gradual formation of uniform language. Hochdeutsch as literary version of the German speech was for this purpose formed. It in some way helps citizens of Germany to overcome communicative barriers.
Pay attention, even the literary option of language has the specific features in various regions.
History of language and its carriers
Approximately in the 5th century there were three core categories of the German language family - verkhnenemetsky, srednenemetsky, nizhnenemetsky dialects. A number of the internal versions relating to concrete territorial accessory has each appearance.
Verkhnenemetskiye, or as they are called still, the southern dialects, have verkhnefranksky, Bavarian, alemansky adverbs. Srednenemetsky (central) consist of srednefranksky, Silesian, verkhnesaksonsky, tyuringsky adverbs. To nizhnenemetsky (they northern) – the Frisian, Low Saxon and nizhnefranksky dialects. The main distinction of these dialects – different pronunciation of sharp concordants, they differ, respectively, on phonetics though there are also lexical distinctions affecting morphemics and syntax.
And quite often these distinctions are so significant what very difficult adequately to understand what is told by the person using a certain dialect.
Development of dialects in language and preservation of roots
The subsequent movement of concordants still found reflection in verkhnenemetsky dialects. Less it was implemented in srednenemetsky dialects, and in northern it is not observed at all. In Germany the dialects maintain presence at everyday life. Informal conversation is sated with adverbs, at the same time not only in small villages and small settlements, but also in big cities. And it is explainable, dialects are much more senior than the literary language since the literary kind of the speech was created from them (in particular from verkhnenemetsky and srednenemetsky). But existence of a literary syllable does not belittle value of sources of language, though cinema in any way, and performances go in the German lands only in the literary language. In official documents, books and magazines, announcers on radio and television only Hochdeutsch – as a literary variation of German is used. And how to speak – everyone solves.
