2. On a scale find two next digital values. At the same time their order is not important at all. For example, if on a measured cylinder by means of which it is possible to measure liquid volume in ml numerical values 0, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 are caused, then it is possible to take couples of numbers 0 and 100, 100 and 200 or 400 and 500 or any other couple of numbers by such principle. Take away smaller from bigger numerical value.

3. Count divisions between the next numerical values on a scale. At calculation consider that division is called the distance between two next lines of a scale, but not these lines. Calculate the price of division of the device, having divided the difference of two next numerical values of a scale into the number of divisions between them. It will also be the minimum size measured by the device.

4. For example, to find the price of division of a scale of the voltmeter which measures tension in volts with numbers 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and five divisions between two next numerical values, do a certain sequence of actions. Take two next numerical values - let it will be 4 and 6. Now from bigger number take away smaller - 2 will turn out. Divide this number into the number of divisions between these values (on a condition it equally to 5). 2/5=0.4 volts will turn out. The price of division of the voltmeter is equal to 0.4 V.
