In the course of the learning of foreign language there is a need of drawing up the dictionary in which already learned words will register. The dictionary needs to be made so that it gave full information on each word and that it was convenient to work with this dictionary.
Instruction
1. Large letters write down a word which translation you want to place in the dictionary. This word can be selected somehow. To make convenient further search in the dictionary, make out all words in uniform style.
2. Write down a word transcription. The transcription is a symbolical designation of how this word is read. Usually the transcription registers in square brackets right after a word.
3. Specify what part of speech is this word: noun, adjective, verb, and so forth. In each language there are nuances.
4. Write the translation of a word. If you want to make the most unabridged and detailed dictionary, write all variants of translation. If the dictionary is supposed short, write only that translation which interests you in the set context.
5. Give examples of use of this word. It can be phrases, offers or the whole phrases. It is desirable that the example was applied to each variant of translation. It will allow to show visually and better to experience semantic differences in variants of translation.
6. You pass to the following word. The dictionary can be formed alphabetically, under thematic sections or without a certain orderliness. The principle of creation of the dictionary depends on the purposes which the dictionary made by you is designed to realize.
