Instruction
1. To measure the metric area (the area expressed in square meters) of the squared room multiply its length and width. Width and length of the room at the same time need to be written down in meters. If the number of meters at measurement not an integer (i.e. in measurements there are also centimeters), attribute the number of centimeters after a decimal point of a comma). So, for example, 1 meter 23 centimeters will correspond to measurement number 1.23.
2. If in the room ledges or niches from other rooms, then their metric area pays off separately and subtracted or increases to the ""rectangular"" area of the room. At the same time it is necessary to consider that it is not necessary to subtract ledges from sanitary constructions (e.g. struts) from the area as they enter its metric area – even if it public devices.
3. To measure the number of square meters in not rectangular room, divide it into rectangular sites and put the metric area of each of them. Certainly, this way approaches only when all additional corners of the room also direct.
4. At measurement of length and width of the room use a usual construction roulette or an electronic range finder. To receive more exact result, you carry out two measurements – the different ends of a wall. If results of measurements differ, then find an arithmetic average – put and halve both results of measurements.

6. If the metric area of the apartment pays off with the purpose of installation of the heating system ""heat-insulated floor"" on the basis of an infrared heating film, then subtract from the received square meters the area of stationary furniture (sofas, beds, cases, walls and kitchen tables).
7. If the room has irregular shape, then break difficult sites into triangles and sectors.
